Catopia’s mission is to provide a happy temporary home for adoptable cats that is also an awesome place for people to relax and have fun. We have delicious snacks, drinks, and cat-themed gift shop items. Plenty of high perches, soft spots to sleep, and toys are available for the cats. Comfy chairs, books, games, free WiFi, charging outlets, and other amenities are available to the humans. Our super-friendly staff is ready to help make your visit a great experience.

Sandy LOVES cats and is hugely grateful to her family, friends, and advisors who helped make Catopia a reality. She grew up in the South Valley of Albuquerque where her caring parents owned a veterinary hospital. Her super supportive husband and wonderful kids share her love of animals. Their four cats and two dogs make their home extra happy.
Cassie is a UNM student, parkour athlete, and a crazy cat lady! She loves working as a manager at Catopia Cat Cafe and the cats all love her! Here she is with her cat/BFF Hermione.
Luke attends New Mexico Tech and is majoring in Environmental Engineering. He plays music and does parkour, but at the end of the day his favorite thing to do is relax with his cat, Serafina.
Cameron is a manager at Catopia and also a Parkour instructor! He has worked with many young people and adults to develop their skills. He loves the cats for who they are, but could also teach them to be lil' ninjas.
Joey is a senior at Albuquerque Academy. He takes part in his school's theatre program and loves music, video games, cars, fountain pens, and cats! Though he doesn't have any pets at home, he adores animals and likes to volunteer at Watermelon Mountain Ranch. Joey loves every day he spends at Catopia!
Abby plans to major in Civil Engineering at UNM. She loves cats because they can always bring a smile to your face. She enjoys napping with her cat, Stormy.
Thomas graduated from La Cueva last year. He does parkour and is an amazing athlete. He was one of the first employees at Catopia when we opened and he's also adopted one of our foster cats!
Kacie is a freshman at UNM. She likes to play sports such as volleyball. Although Kacie doesn't have any cats at home, she has two dogs who she loves to cuddle with.
